Photofacial Treatments in Charlotte, NC

Pulsed light skin therapy is based on emitting high-intensity pulses of light—not lasers. This technology penetrates the skin to correct those imperfections that bother you, such as sun damage, rosacea, age spots, and facial spider veins.

The results are the removal of age/sun spots, removal of vascular lesions, and evening of skin tone and texture. It is like taking an eraser to those imperfections, leaving a smoother, more even complexion.

Sun Damage & Age Spots

The sun keeps us warm, gives us light, and makes those "beautiful" marks on our skin.

What? Those sunspots—"age spots"—are actually the result of sun damage, or "photodamage," and are not so beautiful.

Photodamage ages us tremendously and gives your skin a harsh texture. Most prominent areas affected are the face and hands.

Our medical-grade system, called "Pulsed Light Therapy," will help to erase the abuse your skin has been through. This is newer technology than laser, and is safer than laser treatments.

Most patients require three treatments to remove the darkened pigment. These treatments also help to minimize pores while subtly tightening the tissue. You will notice younger, healthier looking skin.

We recommend a combination of pulsed light treatments with microdermabrasion or a chemical peel to accentuate results.

Facial Spider Veins

Pulsed light therapy can also be used to erase those tiny blood vessels and spider veins on your face, improving the clarity of your complexion.

This medical-grade system works by heating up the blood vessel to the point that it collapses and goes away. This surface vessel is not needed and is usually the result of genetics, rosacea, age, and sun exposure.
